Before I started my training journey at Fitness Factory, my personal nutrition habits were, to put it bluntly, terrible. I had a “eat whatever I want” mindset and didn’t consider whether my body truly needed the food I was consuming. Looking back, I realized I lacked the knowledge to make informed choices about what to eat and when to eat it.
The turning point for me was when I noticed myself gaining weight and my cholesterol and triglyceride levels skyrocketing. It hit me that I was allowing my health to deteriorate, and I knew it was time for a change.
The first month of embarking on a new dietary program was undoubtedly challenging. I had to learn the basics of nutrition, figure out which foods to choose, understand the importance of supplements, and align my eating habits with my intense training regimen. But the more I tried, the more I learned, and the easier it became to follow my nutrition plan.
Since then, I’ve experienced significant changes both quantitatively and qualitatively. My blood pressure dropped by 15%, my total cholesterol decreased by 20%, my triglyceride levels reduced by 20%, and I lost 8cm from my waist. I feel more energetic than ever before, and my nutrition supports my training effectively.
While I can’t compare this program to others on the market, having a well-balanced nutrition plan has become essential for me. Our bodies are like machines, and we only have one, so taking care of it is paramount. As I pursue bodybuilding, I’ve come to realize that a balanced nutrition plan is not just important; it’s a necessity.
